About Us

Welcome to Kaleidoscope Kids ROC! My name is Miiko “MiMi” Phillips - Inclusive Practices Consultant, community educator, and proud founder of a business rooted in advocacy, equity and heart.

Kaleidoscope Kids ROC was born from both professional expertise and my lived experience. I’ve felt the emotional weight, system barriers and quiet victories that families face every day. That personal journey fuels my commitment to creating spaces where caregivers feel seen, supported and empowered.

With years of experience in diverse settings—including specialized schools, mainstream schools with accommodations, and home-based environments—I have developed a comprehensive understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and 504 Plans. My work as a Direct Support Professional and NYS-certified Teacher’s Assistant has allowed me to support learners across diverse settings. I also hold certifications as a NYS Family Peer Advocate, NYS Youth Peer Advocate, Adult Mental Health First Aid provider, Youth Mental Health First Aid provider, and Home Health Care provider - equipping me to guide families through complex systems with clarity, compassion, and care.

Today, Kaleidoscope Kids ROC offers consulting, education, and community-based resources that uplift families and inform institutions. We collaborate with schools, organizations, and caregivers to promote inclusive practices, strengthen family engagement, and build environment where ever child can thrive.

Thank you for considering Kaleidoscope Kids ROC —where inclusion is intentional, care is community-rooted, and every partnership is built on trust.

Let’s reimagine support together!

“Inclusion isn’t just a concept - it’s a commitment. And every child is worth the P.R.I.C.E.”

Personalization. Respect. Inclusion. Collaboration. Empowerment.
